​A great four star review of Robin Gibb’s ‘Saved by The Bell’ appeared last week in the Netherlands newspaper de Volkskrant

“The thing that makes the Sing Slowly Sisters recordings so special, is that Gibb (more than in his work for Bee Gees) shows his darker side. There’s gloom, loneliness, and sadness in these recordings; feelings that he knew well to handle with his probing voice. Additionally, the string arrangements by Kenny Clayton give it the exact right sound environment. […] it makes Sing Slowly Sisters an extraordinary, though sometimes tormented, record […].”
